Whisky Live Brisbane 2014 is organizing its Whisky Tasting event this year on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd August at the Queensland Irish Club in Brisbane.
The heritage Tara Ballroom has both space and architecture to add to the mood. There will be a selection of the finest whiskies and all will be listed in the Expo Catalogue that will be handed out when you enter, for reference during and after the event.
Ticket holders can also get a copy via email, if they want. New this year will be an Old and Rare Whisky Bar to sample something special. There will be a small but impressive collection, either rare or old. They will be for sale in half-nip samples.
The bar area will have seating with time slots. Being responsible organizers, there will be Whisky Education Seminars this year, in addition, held in the evenings during the week before Whisky Live. These seminars will be conducted in small class sessions, offering tasting of 5-6 types of whiskies, to give in-depth information and the story behind each brand of whisky. Apart from the seminars, a raffle will be held for charity in which you could win great prizes – a fine collection of whiskies! The money will be donated to the Prostrate Cancer Foundation to help research a cure for this deadly disease. The raffle offers great prizes for a great cause.
